Inside Passage Seminars
Since
2004,
Don and Réanne
Douglass have hosted or been featured speakers at the
annual Inside Passage Seminar in the Anacortes area.
For the past few years, the Inside Passage Seminar has
been presented by Brian Pemberton’s NW Explorations.
In addition to the Douglasses, other experts have shared
their intimate local knowledge of British Columbia and
Southeast Alaska with the attendees who came from many
western states and British Columbia.
Boat sizes of participants
range from 22 ft. go-fast speedboats
to 90 ft. yachts. Past participants were among those
joining the 2006 Grand Banks Inside Passage Expedition
to Ketchikan, as well as
NW Explorations' Mother Goose escorted expeditions to
the remote areas of Southeast Alaska. The consensus of
attendees is that the Inside Passage Seminar is the most
important and successful of all the West Coast seminars
during the season.
