Kentucky Colonel in the Queen Charlotte Islands

Our friend, Rick Huizi of "Kentucky Colonel," took his little Ranger 21 Tug across Hecate Strait, solo, in 2006 to visit the QCIs. At that time, Rick had an old email address for us. He recently reconnected with us and was finally able to send his description of the trip that amazed everyone who came in contact with "Kentucky Colonel." Another much larger vessel, "Knotty Dog II,"—a Nordhavn 57 owned at the time by Larry and Jayne Hemmerich—met Rick along the way.
