Pierre's at Echo Bay

In 2008 Bob and Nancy Richter, long-time owners of Echo Bay Resort, sold their property to Pierre and Tove Landry and Jerome and Lucy Love. Pierre and Tove moved their facilities from Scott Cove to Echo Bay and, since then, have made substantial improvements on the docks and buildings. Amenities include showers and laundry, upgraded power (15, 30 & 50 amp), a new water system, a nicely renovated store with new flooring and a good stock of groceries. Pierre's also encompasses the former Windsong Sea Village (now called Cliffside Moorage). Note that, to date, their is no cell coverage in the bay, but they're hoping to remedy the situation in the near future. In their inimical style, Pierre and Tove continue to entertain boaters with their pig roasts, Christmas in July and other special events held in the big white tent. To check out their summer events, visit: www.pierresbay.com. Due to the popularity of the marina, it’s imperative to email or call well ahead to reserve a space on the dock. Tel: 250-663-8905; email: pierresbay1@hughes.net. If you want some respite from your boat or you want to fly in, you can rent a cabin on the hill above the docks. In the near future, the partners will also be selling building sites.

Take a look at the photos Pierre was kind enough to let us use and see for yourself the improvements.
